Dr. Harleen Hansen is a skilled and compassionate dentist with over ten years of clinical experience and a deep commitment to patient-centered care. An Arizona native, she earned both a Bachelor of Science in Molecular and Cellular Biology and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Arizona (Go Wildcats!).
She went on to attend Midwestern University in Downers Grove, Illinois, where she earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree, before returning home to Arizona to complete her Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency. Dr. Hansen is honored to be joining Dr. Tyagi and the team at Lookout Mountain Family Dentistry.
For Dr. Hansen, the most rewarding part of dentistry is her patients. She takes the time to truly get to know each individual and their family, building long-lasting relationships rooted in trust, open communication, and a shared commitment to lifelong oral health. Her approach combines clinical expertise with genuine warmth, ensuring every patient feels listened to, comfortable, and well-informed about their care.
Outside of the practice, Dr. Hansen enjoys spending time with her husband, Michael, whom she married in 2019, and their two energetic toddlers, Noori and Niv. The family is also home to two beloved dogs, Comet and Dasher, who have proudly taken on the role of big brothers. Dr. Hansen looks forward to welcoming her new patients and getting to know each of them and their families.
